If you take a short hike down the trail at the bottom of the Canyon Lake Dam, on the Guadalupe side, you’ll come to an end where the dam lets out water back into the Guadalupe River to continue its journey downstream. On a morning walk, I snapped a photo of the current flowing gently toward the cypress trees, and a mist collected above the water in the distance. It was truly beautiful!
